The lawsuit between Colt Cabana and CM Punk is finally over.

Cabana filed a lawsuit back in August 2018 suing the former WWE Champion for $1.2 million for breach of contract and fraud over legal fees related to their lawsuit against WWE Doctor Chris Amann. Punk filed a countersuit of $600,000 for general damages and legal fees.

According to David Bixenspan at Forbes, the lawsuit for both men was dismissed last Thursday. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, both Punk and Cabana filed for the case to be dismissed. Neither party gets any financial gains nor can Cabana or Punk file another lawsuit over this matter. While that may suggest that the former best friends have reconciled, it appears to be the opposite, as the former WWE Champion responded to a fan defending Cabana.

Punk stated that Cabana was greedy and tried to extort him for money. The former WWE star claims that on numerous occasions he tried to get in contact with Cabana; however, the ROH star refused to talk to him. As of this writing, Cabana has yet to tell his side of the story regarding the case.
