This week’s Lucha Underground intro focused on the Killshot and Son of Havoc feud, Ivelisse teaming with Joey Ryan and XO Lishus, Killer Kross debuting at the temple, and Aerostar resurrecting Fenix. This week’s episode was titled “The Moth and the Butterfly”.

The show opened with Aerostar and Melissa Santos discussing the new Fenix. Aerostar told Santos that when Catrina sucked the life force out of Fenix, her evil spirit infected him like a disease. Aerostar told her that it was too late to save Fenix, stating that the luchador was already too gone.

Santos questioned how he’s so sure. Aerostar stated that he saw the end. Melissa asked, “the end of what?”. He responds with the end of “todo” (everything).

Coming off the suddenly excited Vampiro, we go back to Joey Ryan, Ivelisse, and XO Lishus standing in the ring looking to avenge their beatdown from the new Rabbit Tribe last week.

Ryan, Lishus, and Ivelisse put up one hell of a fight, but this match was to get over Killer Kross, who didn’t tag in until the very end. Once he did, the White Rabbit no sold Ryan’s superkicks, gave him a doomsday Saito, and won the match with a mandible claw using a white glove (that he took out of trunks).

Ultima Lucha is happening in four weeks! Matt Striker announced Mil Muertes vs. Willie Mack in a Death Match, Fenix vs. El Dragon Azteca Jr, and Marty Martinez vs. Pentagon Jr. for the Lucha Underground Championship.

Next up was Killshot vs. Son of Havoc. Killshot was a cocky son of a bitch throughout, but Son of Havoc got the surprise win with a pinning combination. Pissed, killshot, well, killed him with a knee (metaphorically of course. LU would never condone such acts) and then ripped off his mask.

Antonio Cueto walked out and booked a mask vs. mask match for Ultima Lucha in four weeks.

Back from commercial, new Lucha Underground champion Marty “The Moth” Martinez was in the ring with his new vixen, Reclusa (Chelsea Green). He takes out Sexy Star’s mask and explains why she is no longer in Lucha Underground.

Long story short, he had Reclusa torture her and then kill her. Or sent her back to the gods. Feel free to make up your own Lucha Underground death.

Anyways, he “rewarded” his sister Mariposa with a title match in which she quickly accepted.

Back from commercial, Mariposa vs. Marty “The Moth” Martinez was underway and the 1st half was a violent display of just how sick Martinez is. Mariposa bled at one point.

After selling for Martinez, Mariposa got the upper hand and grabbed the microphone telling Marty that if he wants to play with chairs then “let’s play bitch!” A cool spot with Mariposa just simply tossing chairs at Marty for a few minutes. In the end, Reclusa interfered and Martinez was able to capitalize with the fear factor for the victory.

Marty then challenged Pentagon Dark to a No-DQ match at Ultima Lucha. He did Pentagon’s signature spot and broke Mariposa’s arm. After all, nothing says “I love you sis” other than breaking her arm.

Pentagon stormed out and chased Marty away. He grabbed the microphone and accepted the challenge. He promised to break Marty’s bones and then the show went off the air.
