The former Lucha Underground star was set to take on Kotto Brazil during the June 1st television tapings of FURY ROAD; however, the independent talent ended up pulling out of the event.

According to PWInsider, the former AAA World Cruiserweight Champion told officials that he had vacation scheduled at the time; however, MLW learned that Daga was actually working shows in Mexico and decided to remove him from all the dates he had scheduled with them.

Daga originally made his debut for MLW back in 2018 against then MLW World Champion Low Ki; however, the promotion announced a full-time return for the Mexican wrestler back in February. On June 16th at AAA's Verano de Escándalo show, Daga will be teaming with former Impact Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard in a mixed tag team match against Laredo Kid and current Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie.
