Marty Scurll Announces That He'll Challenge For The ROH World Title At The ROH-NJPW SUPERCARD SHOW

The Villain will finally get his opportunity at the ROH World Title.

During the recent ROH 17th Anniversary Event Press Conference, Marty Scurll announced that he will be the next challenger for the ROH World Championship at the ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard event. Check out the press conference below. If you just want to see Scurll's announcement, skip to 5:17:



Scurll won a title shot opportunity thanks to being victorious in the 2018 Survival of the Fittest tournament. However, the question is, who will walk into the Madison Square Garden show as the champion?

Current ROH World champion Jay Lethal is scheduled to face Matt Taven this Friday night. While Lethal has vast experience as a world champion on his side, The former ROH Television champion has been making a big name for himself as a singles competitor recently.

This Friday we’ll find out who’s truly the better wrestler, Matt Taven or Jay Lethal. ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard is set for Apr. 6 at Madison Square Garden. Here's a look at the updated card:
