Rampant rumors have been swirling over the former UFC fighter's future in regards to possibly being WWE bound, and now Matt Riddle has dropped the world championship at Evolve 108. Check out some photos here.

With the previous rumor of Matt Riddle signing a three-year contract with the WWE, it was only a matter of time before Riddle would drop the EVOLVE title, and it happened at EVOLVE 108, where Shane Strickland (killshot in Lucha Underground) defeated Riddle to become the new EVOLVE Champion.

Word is that Riddle could possibly show up at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV.
