Matt Taven’s future was finally revealed during the DBD Fallout Tapings on Saturday.

The Kingdom member dropped the ROH World Title to RUSH at Death Before Dishonor on Friday, further fueling the speculation on Taven possibly leaving the company for good at the end of the month. The former ROH World Champion spoke about his deal ending and Taven confirmed that he isn’t leaving ROH anytime soon (transcript courtesy of lordsofpain.net).

“Seven years ago when I came [to ROH], it was because this was the place to be,” Taven said. “It was because this was the most innovative, best wrestling on the planet, and I believed that at the time and I still believe that to this day. Ring of Honor from top to bottom is the best wrestling on the planet, and it’s undeniable. I want to tell each and every one of you that I am going nowhere. I am here to stay.”

It’s been reported that Taven's new deal has him making double what an NXT main eventer would make; however, it’s not clear how long his new deal lasts. At the end of the promo, Taven promises to recapture the ROH World title thus teasing a possible rematch against RUSH down the line. The segment should air in the following weeks as it was indeed apart of the television taping.
