Michael Elgin Is Set To Take On Daisuke Sekimoto In His BIG JAPAN PRO WRESTLING Debut

The former ROH World Champion is set to make his return to Japan this summer, as Michael Elgin will be taking on Eight-time BJW Tag Team Champion Daisuke Sekimoto at an upcoming show in the Korakuen Hall.

Michael Elgin is set to make his return to Japan; however, it won’t be for New Japan Pro Wrestling; ‘The Unbreakable’ has been announced for a match-up against 8-time BJW Tag Team Champion Daisuke Sekimoto on August 24th at Korakuen Hall for Big Japan Pro Wrestling.

The former ROH World Champion is currently involved in the main event picture with Impact Wrestling, as Elgin is set to challenge ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage for the Impact World title at Slammiversary XVII on July 7th.

This is Elgin’s first time in the Japanese promotion, as Michael is mostly known for time in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The Impact Wrestling star has won the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, NEVER Openweight and Six-Man NEVER Openweight titles in the company. After five years, Elgin decided to leave the promotion for good on March 31st.
