Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Minoru Suzuki is not happy that he’s been left off the G1 Climax tournament this year.

This year’s competition is stacked with the likes of Jon Moxley, Kota Ibushi, Tetsuya Naito, Will Ospreay, KENTA, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. However, numerous names were left out of the tournament and Suzuki’s is one of them. The former NEVER Openweight champion has threatened the company to let him in the G1 Climax or he will destroy it all:

“New Japan, today’s the deadline. I warned you about today. But you still haven’t answered me. You’re making me feel foolish,” he said. “Who do you think I am? I am the King of Pro-Wrestling. What do you think you’re doing to me, bastards. I will go on my own way. With my own judgements. G1 Climax…I will destroy it all. I’ll kill them all.”

Suzuki finished his message by calling out Kazuchika Okada, warning him to watch his back going forward.

“Also, Kazuchika Okada – The IWGP Champion – You better watch your back when you go out at night.”

The direction of New Japan Pro Wrestling has gotten more interesting as we head into the G1 Climax.
