It appears that Alex Shelley has decided to hang up his wrestling boots.

The former TNA and ROH Champion posted a Tweet reflecting on his last match against The Young Bucks and Roppongi 3K (SHO and YOH), indicating that this was his last match. Shelley never outright says the word retired, but his tweet strongly signals that he packed his bags and moved on.

Shelley is mostly known for being one-half of the tag team The Motor City Machine Guns alongside Chris Sabin, and the team captured the tag team Championships in both TNA and ROH. Shelley is also a former TNA X-Division Champion and a former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.

The talented wrestler has had countless of memorable matches throughout his career and he will be truly missed in the wrestling ring if this was his retirement announcement.
