The ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden is less than a month away. The show is still taking shape with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match between Taiji Ishimori, Bandido, and Dragon Lee the only confirmed bout on the card thus far.

However, the build to the historic event has been exciting thus far, with notably the New Japan Cup tournament. 32 competitors are vying for a title shot for the IWGP Heavyweight championship at the Madison Square Garden event against Jay White. Will Ospreay is one of those men competing inside the tournament. The NEVER Openweight champion has seen success in both the first and second rounds thus far and is expected to meet former IWGP Heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada in the quarterfinals.

New Japan is doing a special “Road To” series with various talents about their aspirations for the Madison Square Garden event. Ospreay is the special guest on this episode and he speaks about why wrestling at the Garden is so important to him and his goal in getting the main event slot of the huge show.
