NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING Chronicles Hiroshi Tanahashi's Career In The Promotion

The former IWGP Heavyweight champion is the latest New Japan star to be chronicled in "The Recount". Check out the documentary that details the highs and lows of Hiroshi Tanahashi's time in the promotion.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has released a documentary under their series “The Recount”, which goes through the highs and lows of various superstars in the promotion.

This time its former IWGP Heavyweight champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, with the first part of the video chronicling the wrestler's start in the company back in 1999. The video showcases him, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Katsuyori Shibata as the “Three Musketeers”:


The next and final part goes through 2009 and Tanahashi’s down period in the company. Highlighting Tanahashi’s feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, his various wins and losses in terms of the IWGP Heavyweight championship, and how that ultimately culminated to his eighth IWGP Heavyweight title win at Wrestle Kingdom 13:
