Two championship matches have been confirmed for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s 47th Anniversary Show. First, Taiji Ishimori – who defeated former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight champion KUSHIDA at Wrestle Kingdom 13 to capture the belt – will defend his title against New Japan legend Jushin Thunder Liger.

The second title bout will be BUSHI and Shingo Takagi putting their IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team championship on the line against SHO & YOH. The Roppongi 3k members will finally get their earned two-on-two shot they won at the Super Junior Tag League last year. SHO & YOH competed for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles at Wrestle Kingdom 13, but BUSHI and Takagi ultimately walked out as the champions that night in the triple threat bout.

The New Japan Pro Wrestling 47th Anniversary Show is scheduled to take place on March 6th.
