The Super J-Cup is only one week away and the company has finalized the participants and first-round match-ups for the competition.
First, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, El Phantasmo, and Robbie Eagles are the last three names confirmed to join the Super J-Cup tournament, which brings the field to 16 competitors in total.
The tournament brackets were also officially released, with the expected bout between Will Ospreay vs. Amazing Red set to take place in the first round. This should reportedly be the final match-up for the former X-Division Champion, unless Amazing Red advances to the next round that is.
Super J-Cup begins on Aug. 22 at the Temple Theater in Tacoma, WA with first-round match-ups. The second round will take place on Aug. 24 from the San Francisco University Student Life Events Center in San Francisco, CA. The tournament will end on Aug. 25 from the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, CA with the semifinals and finals.
