Former NEVER Openweight champion Yujiro Takahashi is currently out of action with an eye injury and will miss some time inside the ring, which New Japan has confirmed through their website.

Thanks to the google translator, NJPW’s statement on Takahashi’s injury is as follows:

“Yujiro Takahashi will miss the next series due to eye injuries. In addition, the return time is undecided. We are very sorry for everyone who is looking forward to the game of Yujiro player. We apologize for any inconvenience but we appreciate your understanding.”

The Bullet Club member last wrestled on Feb. 11 at The New Beginning show In Osaka 2019, teaming with Chase Owens to defeat Tomoaki Honma & YOSHI-HASHI. As reported above, there’s no word on the seriousness of Takahashi’s injury nor is there a timetable for his return.

Hopefully, we’ll find out in the next couple of weeks the extent of the former NEVER Openweight champion’s injury.
