Kenny Omega was able to successfully defend his IWGP title against Cody and Kota Ibushi in a great triple threat match at King of Pro-Wrestling. Omega pinned Ibushi with the One Winged Angel.

Once the match ended, Omega did his final speech and put over the “American Nightmare” and Ibushi. Just as Omega was finishing, Hiroshi Tanahashi came back out with his Tokoyo Dome briefcase.

Tanahashi took the mic and said they may have some philosophical differences about wrestling, but let's put it all on the line at Wrestle Kingdom 13 before leaving  the ring. Omega then does his "goodbye and good night" sign-off to close out the show.
