This past weekend, New Japan Pro Wrestling revealed that they will return to America on November 9, as the Japanese promotion will host the New Japan Showdown event in San Jose that will take place in the San Jose Civic.

This isn’t the first time New Japan has hosted an event in California and the company's US shows tend to have memorable matches such as Hiromu Takahashi vs. Dragon Lee and Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson).

At the moment, the promotion hasn’t confirmed any New Japan talents for the show; however, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if names such as Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, and Kota Ibushi were announced before tickets go on sale.

Speaking of tickets going on sale, the promotion has confirmed that they will be available starting Friday, September 13. Stay tuned NJPW1972.com for more information on participating wrestlers and ticket prices.
