Jushin "Thunder" Liger's final match for night one has been confirmed.

After being in the wrestling business for over three decades, the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion will team with Tatsumi Fujinami, The Great Sasuke & Tiger Mask to take on Naoki Sano, Shinjiro Ootani, Tatsuhito Takaiwa & Ryusuke Taguchi in a eight-man tag team match. The bout was made official during a press conference with Liger.

Liger is expected to compete on night two of Wrestle Kingdom 14, though there’s no word on who his opponent will be. Back at the Super J-Cup, El Phantasmo challenged the legend to a match at Wrestle Kingdom after he won the tournament that the 54-year-old made famous. Liger has yet to respond to the Bullet Club member’s challenge; however, it wouldn’t be surprising if the singles match between the athletes is made official.

This is the second match confirmed for Wrestle kingdom 14, as Kazuchika Okada vs. Kota Ibushi for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is confirmed to headline the annual event.
