NJPW Reveals The Eight Teams Who Will Compete In The 2019 SUPER JUNIOR TAG LEAGUE Tournament

The 2019 Super Junior Tag League Tournament is coming close and New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the eight teams that will take part of the competition. Find out which teams are in this year's league.

New Japan has finally confirmed the eight teams who will participate in this year’s Super Junior Tag League starting on October 16.

The competition will take place over fifteen days with all eight teams in a single block. The tournament is a round-robin style competition like the G1 Climax, with the first and second placed teams advancing to the finals on November 3, 2019 at Power Struggle.

Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH)

Birds of Prey (Will Ospreay & Robbie Eagles)

Ryusuke Taguchi & Rocky Romero

Volador Junior & Titan

Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo

El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru

Tiger Mask & Yuya Uemura

TJP & Clark Connors


The winners of the tournament will move on to NJPW Wrestle Kingdom to challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
