NWA World Champion Nick Aldis is currently set to face the “American Nightmare” Cody in the main event of ALL IN this September.

The man formerly known as Magnus has been heating up on the independent scene since leaving Impact Wrestling, with him capturing the NWA Title back in December 2017.

Aldis was the guest on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM Rush 93, and during the appearance, Aldis stated where he might take the NWA Title if he defeats Cody Rhodes at “ALL IN”:

“I walked straight into [ROH], straight into a top angle with the top guy, because I’m the NWA World Champion. Does it stop there? I don’t think so. I think I can go anywhere, and I mean anywhere.”

Show host Bully Ray then speculated “anywhere” means WWE, and Aldis responded on possibly taking the title to WWE after “ALL IN”:

“It’s my understanding that a certain man who has a lot of power in that company, who I have modeled a lot of myself after in the past years, has a replica of the Ten Pounds of Gold on his wall. All I’m saying is, if he ever wants an opportunity to hold the real one in his hands, all he needs to do is pick up the phone.”

Aldis is referring to Triple H, who has a replica of the NWA Title hanging in his office. You can hear more from Aldis in the player below:
