Last night, the National Wrestling Alliance hosted the 2019 Crockett Cup where eight teams competed to win the vacant NWA Tag Team titles.
The one-night tag tournament put a much-deserved light on tag team wrestling, with the likes of former champions such as The Briscoe Brothers to newcomers such as Royce Isaacs and Thom Latimer (former TNA star Bram) competing.
After a wild night, the finals came down to former ROH World Tag Team champions PCO & Brody King vs. Royce Isaacs and Thom Latimer. The former ROH World Tag Team champions came into the bout underdogs due to a savage beating from the Briscoe brothers in the semi-finals match-up; however, PCO & Brody King were able to pull out all the stops to defeat newcomers Royce Isaacs and Thom Latimer in a short bout.
PCO & King are not only the 2019 Crockett Cup winners, but the new NWA Tag Team champions as well! Congratulations to the duo, who continue to make a splash on the independent scene.
