Nick Aldis has found a new challenger for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

AEW star Peter Avalon will challenge for the belt this Saturday on Championship Wrestling from Arizona:

Known as The Librarian in All Elite Wrestling, Avalon has been a main stay in Championship Wrestling from Arizona since 2016. At the moment, there’s no word on when he’ll finish up his commitments on the independent scene; however, it will surely end before AEW hits television in the fall.

As for Aldis, the NWA is currently getting set to begin TV tapings in Atlanta at the end of this month. While there’s a slim chance that the title will change hands Saturday, it should be a fun contest nevertheless.
