RING OF HONOR Announces An Eight-Man Tournament To Crown A New Challenger For The World Title

Ring of Honor has confirmed a huge tournament this fall, with the winner going on to challenge for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle on December 13 at UMBC Event Center in Baltimore. The participants have yet to be confirmed; however, the promotion will reveal who will get a chance to fight for a title opportunity this Thursday and Friday.

The tournament will start at Death Before Dishonor on September 28th, with the semi-finals and finals set to take place at Glory By Honor in New Orleans at UNO Lakefront Arena on Oct. 12. Tickets for the event will go on sale next Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. Central for HonorClub members and Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. Central for the general public.

We’ll keep you updated on when ROH reveals the eight participants that will compete in the upcoming tournament. At the moment, Jeff Cobb is currently the #1 contender for the ROH World Championship. There's no word on when he's set to face Matt Taven for the title.
