It appears that Shane Taylor's time in Ring of Honor is coming to a close.

The promotion has announced that they have agreed to terms on a contract buyout with current ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor. At the moment, there’s no word on whether this is another storyline or ROH’s way of releasing Taylor from his contract.

The company addresses his title match at Death Before Dishonor as Taylor is set to defend his belt against Flip Gordon and Tracy Williams on September 27 in Las Vegas. The report states that the promotion and Taylor are in talks for the ROH World Television Champion to defend his title as advertised.

Taylor’s frustrations on his treatment from ROH management has been much of his storyline in 2019, with the World Television Champion making it clear that he wasn’t happy with not being featured on the Death Before Dishonor poster:
