It’s official, RUSH will challenge for the ROH World Championship!
Ring of Honor has confirmed that undefeated wrestler will step up and try to dethrone Matt Taven – or Volador Jr., should he win on Sept. 7 - on September 27th at Death Before Dishonor.
RUSH has been a force to be reckoned with since making his debut back in December. The CMLL superstar has yet to lose a match in the promotion; however, Taven has a history of breaking undefeated streaks as The Kingdom member handed PCO and Jeff Cobb their only pinfall losses in the company thus far.
At the moment, The ROH World title match-up is a singles bout unless Jeff Cobb gets inserted into the championship bout. The former ROH Television Champion won a Defy or Deny match at Honor For All that earned him a future title shot.
