In light of CMLL Light Heavyweight champion
Rush signing an exclusive deal with Ring of Honor, it doesn’t appear that the Mexican star will continue forward with his commitments to Major League Wrestling.
Rush was advertised to face MLW Tag Team champion Pentagon Jr. on April 4
th at the company’s special event in Long Island City, Rise of the Renegades.
The bout has now been scrapped and Pentagon Jr. will take on LA Park at the MLW event. MLW CEO Court Bauer commented on the situation and made it clear that outside forces stopped this match from happening:
“This is a match and organization Rush wanted to be a part of but sometimes politics get in the way and that’s what this comes down to: politics.”
Tickets start at just $20 at
