In the wildest match of the night, the new AEW World Tag Team Champions had a tall task by facing both Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) and The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix).

As expected, the three-way bout was a fast-paced thrill ride that saw each team shine at various points in the match-up; One of the big spots in the match was Fenix performing a beautiful corkscrew senton onto most of the tag teams in the match.

The bout boiled down to Private Party and SCU, with Quen and Kassidy getting a strong nearfall after a shooting star press onto Kazarian. Private Party set up their Gin and Juice finisher (super huracanrana & cutter combination) on Frankie, but Sky prevented the maneuver and the tag team champs connected with the SCU later for the win.

Following the tag match, The Lucha Brothers ambushed the champions; however, the lights went out and a man dressed as Pentagon Jr. stopped the wrestler from piledriving Kazarian onto a steel chair. That man turned out to be Christopher Daniels, who exacted his revenge on Pentagon Jr., who put the wrestling veteran on the shelf following a vicious beatdown several weeks earlier.
