The first match-up for Ring of Honor’s next pay-per-view, Best in the World, has been confirmed as Bandido will step up and challenge Shane Taylor for the ROH World Television title.

The Mexico native has been making a splash down in the independent promotion ever since he signed a full-time contract with the company late last year. The only thing missing from Bandido’s arsenal is a title, which is where newly crowned champion Shane Taylor comes in.

Taylor won the belt for the first time in his career during a Four Corner Survival Match at War of the Worlds: Toronto against Jeff Cobb, Hirooki Goto, and Brody King. The two ROH stars will meet on June 28 in Baltimore, Maryland unless Taylor loses the title beforehand, which the company alludes to on their official website. We’ll keep you updated on the rest of the match card for the ROH pay-per-view when they’re made official.
