During the preshow for All Elite Wrestling's
Double or Nothing PPV, Shawn Spears made a surprise appearance during the Casino Battle Royale. While he didn't win the match, many fans wondered if that could mean he had signed a contract with the company but he later made it clear to reporters that that was not the case.
Well, during the latest episode of AEW's "Road To Fyter Fest," it was confirmed that Spears has signed a contract to join the company.
As you can see below, he gets the seal of approval from Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes and Vice President of Business Operations Nik Sobic, who says that he believes Spears
"is going to be a star." Once one of NXT hottest and most over stars, it's easy to imagine that being the case.
Are you excited to see him in action in AEW?
