According to Fightful Select, the former WWE Superstar will be getting a manager soon.

Shawn Spears is expected to face Cody Rhodes at All Out on August 31st, and the report states that a manager will likely be by his side before the All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view comes. There’s no exact word on who the manager could be as there hasn’t been any sort of teases just yet, but the announcement will surely come in an episode of “Road To”, which will build to the big event in Chicago.

Spears teamed with MJF and Sammy Guevara and got the win by pinning Darby Allin with a Death Valley Driver. It’s possible that Spears could face MJF at All Out instead, since both wreslters showcased clear tension between each other that was highlighted during the six-man tag team match at Fight for the Fallen.
