By now, Taichi wasn’t going to change his cheating ways, as evidenced when he attacked former IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson before the bell rang. The early portion of the bout saw the former NEVER Openweight Champion remain in control of Robinson thanks to his sneak attack that hindered the former IWGP US Champion.

The match-up changed in Robinson's favor due to a spinebuster, and the two New Japan talents continued on with a back-and-forth contest that saw Robinson come close to winning several times, especially after a devastating powerbomb.

As Robinson went for the Left Hand of God on Taichi, the former NEVER Openweight champion hid behind the referee. Taichi then spat whiskey in the eyes of Robinson and rolled him up, but only got a nearfall. Taichi then threw a kick and hit Black Mephisto to get the three count.

Taichi’s G1 Climax score is now 3-4 (6 points), whereas Juice Robinson’s record is now 3-4 (6 points).
