On September 7th, the CONTRA Unit are set to go to war!

For months, the dominant faction has been causing chaos throughout the promotion, and it only got worse once Jacob Fatu captured the MLW World Heavyweight Championship back in June.

Now, Tom Lawlor, Ross and Marshall Von Erich, along with a partner of their choosing, will get a chance to takedown the dangerous faction that consists of Jacob Fatu, Josef Samael, Simon Gotch, and the newest member, Ikuro Kwon, in the first-ever War Chamber match.

According to the MLW website, the War Chamber is a carbon steel chamber with the perimeter of the top fortified with barbed wire, two teams of four will clash in combat that only the War Chamber can contain. The rules of the match-up are as follows:

  • A coin toss determines which team enters first.
  • 1-on-1 for 5:00 in stage 1 of the War Chamber.
  • The winner of coin toss comes out for 2-on-1.
  • Alternating teams have wrestlers enter every 2 minutes.
  • Once all combatants are in the War Chamber, victory is won by submission, surrender or pinfall.

Will this long war finally come to an end with Lawlor and The Von Erichs standing tall? Or will the CONTRA Unit continue to dominate the MLW Locker room? We’ll find out on September 7th!
