All Elite Wrestling's weekly show will begin airing on TNT this fall but, up until now, there's been no word on which night of the week that will happen on. Well, according to the Wrestling Observer Newletter, Wednesday nights are the most likely possibility and that makes sense as it's been rumoured for a while now.
This means AEW won't end up going head to head with either RAW or SmackDown Live and puts an end to theories about another Monday Night War.
While SmackDown Live is moving to Fridays on FOX, Tuesday night wouldn't be a good fit because TNT airs NBA games then. In recent weeks, we've learned that it will be aired live each week and the plan is for the show to be two hours long.
There will be no offseason and, for now, house shows are not a priority for AEW as President Tony Khan is keen to ensure that wrestlers are well rested.
We'll let you guys know more as we have it.
