Another match-up that played on the big man vs. little man aspect; however, Bad Luck Fale had Chase Owens and Jado by his side to further aid him throughout the contest. Not surprisingly, Owens and Jado continuously came into play starting with the beginning of the match, as Owens distracted Ospreay and Fale took advantage of it.

The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion used his speed and aerial offense to get the best of the Bullet Club member; however, Fale was able to counter the Os Cutter by pushing the England native into the referee. With Red Shoes down, Owens and Jado openly assaulted Ospreay and then Fale looked to finish him off with a Grenade.

Ospreay stayed alive and fought back against all three Bullet Club members as the referee was down, and the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion came close to putting away Fale by nailing the Os Cutter, but Owens put a stop to Ospreay's momentum with a kendo shot and then a packaged piledriver.

Another referee made his way to the ring and instantly called for the bell due to all the interference from the Bullet Club members. Ospreay defeats Bad Luck Fale via disqualification around 10 minutes.

Will Ospreay’s score in the G1 Climax tournament is 2-3 (4 points), whereas Bad Luck Fale’s record is now 1-4 (2 points).
