Unfortunately, Will Ospreay’s future looks a bit uncertain at the moment.

The England native is in the midst of the biggest push of his career; however, the New Japan star is currently dealing with a neck injury and was forced off of yesterday’s G1 show. At the moment, it’s been reported that Ospreay doesn’t have any abnormalities in his bones or nerves.

There’s no update on his status of the G1 Climax as the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to take on Kota Ibushi this Thursday in another A-Block tournament match-up. That information will be confirmed by the time the next G1 event starts.

At the moment, Ospreay is currently 1-1 in the competition. The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion failed to defeat Lance Archer in the opening of the G1 Climax in Dallas, Texas; however, he rebounded by getting a victory over Sanada on Day 3 of the G1 Climax tournament.
