On October 21st, NWA will celebrate 70 years in professional wrestling. The promotion was founded in 1948, with legends such as Rich Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and Sting having stepped inside the squared circle for the legendary promotion. Matches are still being announced as Nick Aldis will challenge for the prestigious NWA Worlds Heavyweight title in the main event. It will either be against “The American Nightmare” Cody or Wille Mack as Cody will be defending the title against the Lucha Underground star on September 29th.

The company has now announced that Jim Cornette will provide color commentary for the upcoming anniversary show in Nashville, Tennessee. Check out the statement below:
