The future is still unclear for Lio Rush inside the WWE; however, the RAW Superstar is set to make his return to Maryland Championship Wrestling.

The promotion announced that Rush will be a special guest at Jimmy’s Slamboree on Saturday, June 1st.  Jimmy's Slamboree will help benefit The Bruiser, who is currently battling leukemia. The RAW Superstar started his career out in MCW and is a former MCW Tag Team Champion, with his partner being current NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream.

His last match in the promotion was in August 21, 2017 against The Bruiser. Ever since WrestleMania, Rush has been off of WWE television and ‘The Man of the Hour’ has even removed all references of the company from his social media. It’s still expected for Rush to be sent back down to NXT.
