The veteran confirmed his retirement on Facebook on June 19:

The 49-year-old has been wrestling for nearly 30 years, with his most notable time being in the original ECW from 1999 to 2001. Anderson was apart of a faction with Billy Wiles, Elektra and Lou E. Dangerously, who were known as the New Dangerous Alliance. He also competed at the company’s final pay-per-view, Guilty as Charged, against Tommy Dreamer in an “I Quit” match.

Since ECW, Anderson transitioned over to the WWE, though he mostly fought in dark matches and Velocity. He made his in-ring television ECW return in 2006, though the veteran would end up losing to CM Punk. He was released a short time later.

The North Carolina native has been competing on the independent since his departure from WWE, with his most notable appearance being in NWA. His last match was a tornado tag team bout with Caleb Konley taking on Dave Dawson & Zane Dawson in January 2020. Anderson finishes off his career with numerous titles on his resume including the NWA World Tag Team titles, VCW Heavyweight Championship, and X3W Heavyweight Championship.
