Newcomer Patrick Mix will remain with Bellator MMA for the forseeable future.
The bantamweight confirmed on social media that he signed a new deal with the promotion, though the exact details of contract remain disclosed:
“I resigned my second multi fight contract with one of the top mma promotion in the world at the beginning of the year,” Mix wrote on his personal Facebook account. “Even though this year 2020 has been hard the light at the end of the tunnel is that Bellator will be home to myself and family for many years to come. After this pandemic I’m excited to get back to work and chasing these dreams!”
Mix made a successful debut at Bellator 222 against Ricky Bandejas. Following that bout, the 135-pound fighter would score another submission victory over Isaiah Chapman at Bellator 232. Prior to his debut with Bellator MMA, the 26-year-old was making a name for himself down in King of the Cage and Rizin Fighting Federation.
Mix has gotten impressive wins over big names such as Alberto Martinez Jr., Andre Ewell, Keith Richardson, and Turrell Galloway, with his victories either by submission or TKO. The up-and-coming star is known for his mat-based game and submissions; however, Mix isn’t afraid to stand-up and throw punches if he needs to. The bantamweight is currently undefeated as his professional record is 13 wins and no losses.
