Fans of MMA have a new film they may want to check out! Today sees the release of
Rag Doll, a film centered around a female MMA fighter with a tough life and a full schedule who somehow still finds time to take her problems out in the ring. While the theatrical release of this movie has been taking place over the past week, it's actual release is today.
This movie is from Double Entente Films
(The Babymoon, The Caterpillar's Kimono) and directed by Bailey Kobe
(The Caterpillar's Kimono, The Babymoon). Starring in the movie is actor Dante Basco
(Hook, Avatar: The Last Airbender) alongside a strong female cast of Stephanie Erb
(Ray Donovan, Weeds), Shannon Murray
(Oz the Great and Powerful, Miami Hear), Roxana Sanchez
(Lopez), and Dot-Marie Jones
(American Horror Story, Boondock Saints, Glee).
Rounding out the already powerful cast are supporting members Hugh B. Holob

Nora is that girl: the one who works overtime, helps out her family by all means, and leaves little for herself. She can't even fathom a love interest. But with her one free hour a day, she takes out life's hardships at the local mixed martial arts gym, where she is no longer who she is, if just for that hour.
When complications in her real life cause it to crumble, she is led to enter a championship tournament as a novice. Nora must learn not just what she is fighting for, but what she is actually fighting against!
