Along with dozens of other WWE Superstars and employees, Karl Anderson lost his job as part of a massive company-wide purge yesterday afternoon.
The OC member was one of the more surprising cuts, as he and tag-partner Luke Gallows were still being used on TV on a fairly regular basis, but they never reached the same heights as they did in Japan.
Shortly after the news broke, Anderson sent out a Tweet which many have taken as a sign that he intends to return to NJPW.
You'd have to believe he has a job waiting for him there, as "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson was one of the founding members of the Bullet Club along with Finn Balor, Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale. He and Gallows are also one of the most popular and decorated tag-teams in the history of the promotion.
We'll have to wait and see if there's actually anything to this or Anderson is just trying to get people talking, but it's safe to assume that the majority of wrestling fans would love to see him wrestle for a company that actually recognizes his talent and values his worth.
