With photos of Brock Lesnar's new look going viral, The Beast is back in the conversation amid renewed speculation that the former WWE Champion might be close to returning to a WWE ring.
A few days ago, WWE put Lesnar's signature flannel shirt back on its official shop, a move many believe is a clear indication that something has changed when it comes to his relationship with the company.
While we wouldn't put too much stock in this, it could be a hint that Lesnar's return is imminent. After all, SummerSlam is on the horizon, and if Seth Rollins is sidelined indefinitely, then we could see Heyman enlist his former client to lead the stable currently formed of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Adding further fuel to the fire is the fact that Heyman publicly acknowledged Lesnar's birthday on social media, prompting a separate wave of theories from excited fans.
Lesnar's last match in WWE was at SummerSlam 2023 when he was defeated by Cody Rhodes. In a rare sign of sportsmanship, he raised the American Nightmare's hand after the match, leaving that as the last memory many fans have of the former UFC star in WWE.
When the lawsuit regarding Vince McMahon's alleged sexual abuse and trafficking first made headlines, the multi-time WWE Champion was unexpectedly dragged into the whole sorry affair.
In a damning exposé, McMahon was said to have offered WWE employee Janel Grant—the woman he's accused of abusing—to Lesnar as a bonus, of sorts, for signing a new deal. Texts showed that Lesnar responded positively to his boss's suggestion, though we've seen nothing to indicate they ever met (the former UFC star may have also believed he and McMahon were simply sharing a joke).
That complicates the possibility of WWE bringing Lesnar back into the fold, and it will be difficult for WWE to bring Lesnar back into the fold without the risk of drawing negative publicity and potentially upsetting shareholders who are eager to move on from McMahon's supposed indiscretions.
We'll have to wait and see what happens. Lesnar is missed by many fans, and his return would likely earn a huge pop from those who aren't overly interested in McMahon's alleged indiscretions.
