Tommaso Ciampa and Finn Balor went one-on-one for the first time in the main event of NXT this week, with "The Prince" emerging victorious.

After a solid back-and-forth match, The Blackheart was ultimately able to hit a top-rope Air Raid Crash. When Finn kicked out, he set up his Fairytale Ending only for Adam Cole to run down to the ring. The initial distraction didn't work, but when the ref's back was turned the NXT Champion kicked Cimapa in the head, allowing Balor to hit the 1916 for the win.

Afterwards, Finn and Cole stood over Ciampa and it looked like we were seeing some kind of alliance, but Balor then took out the Panama City Playboy with a Pele Kick. It looks like the first ever Universal Champion may have set his mind to getting his hands on "Goldie" before Ciampa.
