Finn Balor took a stiff knee to the face from Kyle O'Reilly towards the end of their NXT Championship match at TakeOver 31 this past Sunday, and even though he would go on to finish the bout and retain his title, it was clear that he was hurting.

The Prince went to a hospital for tests immediately after the show, and, unfortunately, he's now confirmed that he did indeed break his jaw - in two places - via the following Tweet.

Finn defiantly sates that he's "still champion" in his post, but for how much longer? Depending on how long he'll be out of action for, he may have no choice but to relinquish the title, which would suck.

Balor only recently won the strap by defeating Adam Cole after Karrion Kross was forced to drop it due to injury himself.

We should get a better idea of The Prince's status later tonight on NXT, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.
