NXT: Pat McAfee Cuts An Impressive Promo; Adam Cole Says He's Gonna Make Him His Bitch At TAKEOVER

Pat McAfee showed up to last night's go-home episode of NXT with some backup, and cut a hell of a promo on the man he'll face off against at TakeOver: XXX this Saturday. Still, we don't fancy his chances!

Adam Cole invited Pat McAfee to meet him in the ring for last night's go-home episode of NXT, and the former NFL player did show up... with a massive entourage for backup.

McAfee and his fellow football players (don't ask us who any of 'em were!) faced off with the Undisputed ERA, but Cole asked his teammates to step out of the ring. Pat reluctantly did the same before grabbing a mic and cutting a pretty damn great heel promo on his TakeOver opponent.

Honestly, he put quite a few Raw and SmackDown Superstars (you know who you are) to shame here as he reminded the longest reigning NXT Champion that it only took him a second to turn his lights out with a punt two weeks ago, and he was going to do the same at the PPV.

Cole didn't respond with a long-winded rant - he simply walked over to McAfee and told him he was going to make him his bitch this Saturday.

This entire angle has come in for some backlash, but the buildup has been excellent, and we can't wait to see what happens during the "match."
