NXT Referee Jessika Carr Says Goodbye To The Brand As She Prepares To Move To SMACKDOWN

After last night's NXT went off the air, a special goodbye was said to referee Jessika Carr. She's leaving the brand to make the move to SmackDown and it's no secret that Carr has worked incredibly hard to reach this point, paving the way for other women in the industry in the process.

WWE credits Carr with being the company's first female referee (Rita Chatterton refereed matches for WWF in the 1980s but that's not something WWE is seemingly acknowledging).

It was a touching goodbye to Carr following last night's NXT on the USA Network and it's clear that she'll be missed. Seeing her on SmackDown promises to be awesome, though, and it's entirely possible that we'll see her on the blue brand this Friday.
