Matt Riddle had been undefeated ever since making his NXT debut, but that changed last night at TakeOver: New York.
Although the Original Bro dominated much of his North American Title match against The Velveteen Dream and came very close to scoring both pinfall and submission victories, the Sartorial Superstar eventually "Hulked Up" and unloaded on his opponent with a flurry of offence.
One mistake did lead to Riddle managing to lock on his BroMission, but Dream was able to reverse it and score the 3-count to retain his title.
After the match, it looked like Riddle might turn heel attack Dream, but once he calmed down he decided a fist bump was a better way to go. Still, don't be surprised if that turn is just around the corner.
