The main event of NXT saw Imperium leader WALTER go one-on-one with KUSHIDA, and it did not disappoint.

Despite giving up a foot and over 100lbs to the NXT UK Champion, the Japanese Lightning Bolt was able to use his speed and technical prowess to take his much larger opponent off his game, and actually came close to forcing a submission with an awesome top-rope slam into his excruciating Hover-Board Lock.

In the end, though, The Ring General was just too powerful, and followed up a powerbomb with a devastating lariat to secure a pinfall victory.

This wasn't quite up there with WALTER vs. Tyler Bate from NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, but it wasn't far off. WALTER has had some terrific matches against smaller opponents, but we think it's time he took on someone his own size! Imagine him entering the mix with Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic, for example?
