WWE Reportedly Interested In Signing Former RING OF HONOR World Champion Dalton Castle
There have been persistent rumors that WWE has been interested in signing a crop of ROH talent for a while now, and the latest name on the list is none other than the flamboyant Party Peacock himself..
Rumors have been flying of late that WWE is interested in signing several big Ring of Honor stars to follow the likes of Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Donovan Dijak, Lio Rush and Bobby Fish to the NXT brand, and now we're hearing that Dalton Castle is back on the company's radar.
The flamboyant "Party Peacock" was said to be on his way to WWE last year before he signed a new contract with ROH, but according to The Wrestling Observer, interest never waned and Triple H and co. are still determined to sign the talented wrestler.
If you're unfamiliar with Castle, he's a charismatic, incredibly skilled grappler with a gimmick many feel would be a perfect fit for WWE. Personally, I think he'd have to tone down some elements of his character (I'm not sure he'd be allowed to bring his Boys with him, for example) but overall I believe there's a lot of potential there.
We'll keep you updated on this, but in the meantime you can see Castle in action below:
