You Won't Believe Who Bobby Roode's "Glorious" Theme Tune Was Originally Intended For

We've known for a while that "Glorious Domination" wasn't actually written for Bobby Roode, but it's never been revealed who the song was actually intended for. Well, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has confirmed that it was intended to be used for Shinsuke Nakamura.

It's hard to imagine, right? Apparently, Nakamura was very hands on when it came to his music and felt it didn't fit him. He then played a key role in helping to put together "The Rising Son" and Roode ultimately ended up with his original theme when he made his NXT debut a few months later.

Being "Glorious" was written into Roode's character, while Nakamura's violin themed theatrical entrances have helped get him over in a big way. Fans sing along with both men's songs and it's hard to imagine either without them, so it's fair to say things worked out for the best. What do you think?
