You just can’t have a match with Mance Waner and Sami Callihan without tons of blood barbed wires.
Mance Warner has made Sami Callihan’s life a living hell since he made his debut several months ago. The former MLW star gave the 37-year-old a beating that he will never forget at Sacrifice, but that hasn’t stopped Sami Callihan from trying to get his hands on Mance Warner again.
Sami Callihan and Mance Warner tried to kill each other on Thursday. The problem was that both men seemingly forgot that they were in a tournament to be crowned the first-ever International Champion. After the former Impact World Champion jammed his thumb in Warner’s eye, AJ Francis took advantage of the situation and hit the TFL for the win.
Sami Callihan was pissed. Santino Marella was pissed. The chaos that Mance Warner and Sami bring has frustrated everyone in the TNA locker room. So the director of Authority made one more match between Warner and Callihan: Barbed Wire Massacre.
There’s only been five Barbed Wire Massacre matches in TNA/Impact history and Callihan has been in three of them. What are the rules? There are no disqualifications. No count outs. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission. This won’t be under traditional wrestling as the ropes will be made out of barbed wire. And generally, every weapon used will be based around a barbed wire. The matches are always brutal and given the history between Callihan and Warner, this match should be no different.
Who will be the last man standing on April 17th? We’ll find out in what should be a bloody and violent match. If you thought Warner and Callihan had gone too far, you’ve seen nothing yet.
